So, what do you think? Let me tell you that I almost wet my pants in relief when I learned that Itachi-san wasn't hurt. I know that he's Uchiha Itachi; the one who slaughtered his whole clan at the age of 13. I know that people like him don't die in one chapter.

I was still worried, though.

Kishimoto-sama is making my theories drop like flies, I swear. Alright, you guys have to hear some more of my speculations.

If Tobi was Uchiha Madara (which I highly doubt), then Pein and Konan seem to be the only ones in the Akatsuki (with the exception of Zetsu) who know his identity. The rest of the Akatsuki seem to believe that Pein is the leader, since they take orders from him. Also, when the Akatsuki thought that Tobi had died when Deidara exploded himself, their reaction was way too shallow for if they knew it was Uchiha Madara, the one actually leading the Akatsuki. Get my flow? The rest of the Akatsuki don't know that Tobi is Uchiha Madara, if he is actually Uchiha Madara.

But in the latest chapter, Itachi mentioned that Uchiha Madara is still alive, and he is in contact with him. If the Akatsuki don't know that Tobi is Uchiha Madara, then how would Itachi know? He's not in any way closer to Pein than the others; he wouldn't know, don't you think? And if Uchiha Madara is the key person in Pein's plans, I see all the reason for not telling anybody else in the Akatsuki; it just complicates matters. What I'm trying to say is that since Itachi personally knows Uchiha Madara and is in contact with him, it decreases the chance that Tobi=Uchiha Madara. Madara could be a whole seperate person for all we know.

I'm contradicting myself now, aren't I? I said that Uchiha Madara was inside Tobi before. If Uchiha Madara is completely seperate, there would be no explenation for him saying that he had the powers of Uchiha Madara. I'm driving myself into a corner. But here, I can draw the following conclusions.

a. Uchiha Obito is dead, and Uchiha Madara is Tobi.
b. Tobi is still Uchiha Obito being controlled by Madara, and Itachi just knows about the whole thing. Uchiha Madara could still be "alive", in the sense that his soul remains living inside the body of Uchiha Obito.
c. Banana.

What do you guys say?

me to, I was sooo glad Itachi wasn't hurt (even though I knew he wouldn't die in one chapter)!

I was surprised with Sasuke's "question", I came up with so many possible questions, i had no idea what it would be! How interesting!

And although I totally support the theory of Tobi=Obito (or Tobi=Obito+Madara), I wanted to point out that from what we learned in this chapter, Itachi atually knew Madara from before, when he helped him destroy the Uchiha clan!

So, even if the other Akatsuki member don't know, if Tobi IS Uchiha Madara, then Itachi most certainly WOULD know. Maybe Itachi introduced Madara to the Akatsuki!!

This chapter was very... well, confusing in a way. I'm sitting here, searching for ways that Tobi can still be Obito. I'm not going to beleive that Tobi is Uchiha Madara until he says, "I BEE-ITH OOCHEEHA MADARAHHH!!!", takes of his mask, and throws it at Kakashi's head. Exactly like that.
